"I got my nails done here by Sharon. She was great! I felt very comfortable around her, and she was very personable. She did a great job on my culinary-ruined nails/hands, so I really commend that :). I was also short $3 and she was so nice about it. I can't wait to get another manicure from Sharon again in the near future!"

"After years of wearing acrylics, I decided it was time to give my nails a break! I originally set out to remove the acrylics and give my nails time to heal because they usually look pretty rough and are sore after having them peeled off with clippers at my old salon:-/ To my pleasant surprise Monica was able to painlessly and quickly remove them with absolutely no damage to my natural nails. After working her magic, I left with a beautiful gel manicure and a next day appointment to have a pedi. The shop is neatly kept and the ladies are very welcoming. Prices are very reasonabl. Appointments are recommended but they are accommodating to walk-ins as well!"

"Love, love, love Happy Hands & Hair. I have had it with the usual over priced, dirty and upsellng nail salons that I had been wasting so much money on. I finally listened to my mom who has been a loyal customer since the dawn of time and came in. I have been devoutly coming in every 3 weeks for my gel mani fix for about a year now and there is no turning back. The quality of work is miles above the competition. Diane, the brand new owner who just gave the shop a much needed face lift, gives amazing gel manicures. Not to mention how nice and sweet she is, too! They use Gelish and OPI brands and my nails look beautiful for 3 weeks. They have every color and sparkly shade you could ask for. The best part is they are one of the few salons around that use LED lights (You keep your hands in the lamp for only a few seconds!!) instead of the damaging UV lights that all other places use. If for some reason a nail did chip, you would never receive a dirty look if you asked for it to be fixed. On the contrary, they pride themselves on their top notch customer service.
I make the trek out to Northridge from Studio City because it's absolutely worth it!"

"I LOVE Happy Hands and Hair! I have gone here for superb pedicures for many years. It is a small, extra clean, and friendly environment, where you can just chill out, or dish the latest entertainment gossip with the staff and other clients, while you are being pampered! By ALL means, ask for the new Gelish manicure, provided by both Dianne and Sharon. Not only does the gel polish stay on way longer than does a conventional manicure (up to three weeks in some cases!), it is dry immediately with NO smudging! But, the best news of all (at least for me), is that I have NO allergic reaction to the gel product, so that for the first time in years, I can have gorgeous polished nails! So, by all means, book a gel manicure soon!"

"I used to think that manicures were kind of a frou-frou waste of time. I LOVE a nice pedicure in the summertime when I run around in sandals or barefoot, but was never into manicures at all - especially since a traditional one would last me all of a single day or maybe 2 - if I did absolutely nothing with my hands. When I began working a sales job, I realized that my raggedy, torn nails and cuticles were a really unattractive detriment to my professional appearance. My Mom, who has been coming to see Diane at Happy Hands & Hair for more than 20 years, suggested that I have Diane give me one of the new Gelish manicures, which supposedly would last for up to 2 weeks. I came to the cute little salon in the unassuming strip mall and was completely impressed!!! This is no "You pick color..." place!! Dianne and Sharon are lovely women, the salon is spotless - and best of all, my Gelish manicures last at least a full week if I am doing lots of "Mommy" and work things with my hands, and just shy of 2 weeks if I am careful!!
I have become a devotee of the bi-monthly nail salon visit - and monthly pedicure (which are like a Heavenly leg & foot massage treat that leaves you with pretty feet & toes!!) and realize how nice it is to take some "me time"!! We all deserve that, don't we???"
